Job Description
The General Manager (GM) is the highest level of management within a single store. The GM is responsible for leading, mentoring and advising the management team and staff to the successful execution of the restaurant. The GM teaches management on the fundamentals and approach to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, and hospitality while representing the values of Freddy’s. The GM will also need to have a strong understanding of the stores progress and have a strategic vision for its future development. This position may include assisting the District or Regional Manager as call upon

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Enforce all company policies, procedures and protocols

  • Achieve all required metrics
  • Utilize leadership and communication skills to set standards, expectations and the importance of customer service
  • Lead team meetings and other development activities
  • Carefully analyze metrics, trends and forecasts to ensure the meet and exceed financial performance
  • Ensure full restaurant compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Handle guest issues professionally
  • Manage food and labor costs and provide period-end P&L and budgets

Job Requirements

Physical Requirements: (including but not limited to)

  • Ability to stand and walk 10 hours/day
  • Ability to continuously reach, bend, lift, carry and stoop
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the restaurant
  • Ability to move or handle items weighing 0-75lbs
  • Ability to work varied hours/days to oversee store operations
  • Hazards include, but not limited to cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns
